Job Description

As a Associate Governmental Program Analyst you will have the opportunity to:

 

  • Review and analyze various EERD program data related to inspection and enforcement activities in different regulatory and business sectors (including but not limited to hazardous waste transporter, generator and metal shredder facilities) to improve inspection planning through the development and analysis of workload patterns and standards.
  • Evaluate workload patterns and standards to identify target areas for streamlining work processes.
  • Develop and produce fact sheets for hazardous waste transporters and other types of facilities.
  • Develop and maintain informational webpages for hazardous waste transporters and other types of facilities. 
  • Develop request for information letters for facilities.
  • Review fact sheets, letters and documents developed and written by others to ensure consistency, thoroughness, and that the documents are presented in a well-reasoned, well-organized, and clear manner.

Desirable Qualifications We Look For:

  • Possess experience with data research, analysis, and reporting.
  • Possess experience with software, platforms, and databases (such as Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, Visio, and Projects; Smartsheets; Salesforce; Power BI; Adobe Acrobat; Common Look; Survey123; and others) and be willing to learn new and use new technologies as they become available. 
  • Possess experience implementing program performance tracking.
  • Experience in conducting evaluations and/or research and drawing conclusions for decision-making.
  • Possess experience with budgeting, contracts, and/or assistance with hiring/personnel actions.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience interacting with a variety of stakeholders (including customer service).
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently, to think creatively to solve and trouble-shoot problems, to be flexible, to act responsibly in conducting work, and to take responsibility and ownership of projects.
