- Required Qualifications

Must meet the following:
Must be a US Citizen or legal permanent resident
AND
Enrolled full-time or part-time in an accredited college or university in an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree program
OR
Obtained a degree within the last twelve (12) months
OR
Must meet requirements as stipulated for an educational, certification, or licensure program
Other Requirements
Must possess a valid California driver's license if assignment requires driving - Application Process

Application Review
All application materials will be reviewed and those meeting the minimum qualifications will have their names included in a candidate pool that various departments will use to conduct final selection interviews.
Candidates under final consideration for employment with the City should expect to undergo an employment background / reference check that may include, but is not limited to: employment history, confirmation of educational credentials and degrees, licenses including driver's license, registrations, certificates, and other credentials as part of the appointment process. Some positions, depending on the nature of the work, also require a review of Summary Criminal History obtained from the State Department of Justice through Live Scan Fingerprinting.
