The CPUC's Customer Generation team is working to achieve the state’s greenhouse gas reduction targets while maintaining safe, reliable service, lowering electric rates and increasing the role of distributed energy resources (DERs) to the benefit ratepayers. This position offers a leadership role in shaping and overseeing the orderly wind-down of the Self Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) - a program that offered incentives to encourage adoption of distributed energy storage and storage-paired solar.
