Sierra Nevada Yellow-Legged Frog Project Manager

PAS is seeking an experienced biologist to implement and manage the Sierra Nevada Yellow-Legged Frog Monitoring & Recovery Project. PAS is currently monitoring and working to recover the last extant genetic lineage of Diamond Mountain Sierra Nevada yellow-legged frogs (Rana sierrae, SNYLF).

This project will further efforts of reintroduction and adaptive management, site-specific and basin-wide monitoring, and collaboration with landowners to attain permissions for actions on private lands and assess habitat restoration feasibility. The long-term, overarching goals of the project are to increase the population, continue monitoring population trends, and conduct natural history studies on the species.
