The County of Yolo is recruiting to fill one (1) regular, full-time position in the class of Waste Reduction Recycling Coordinator in the Integrated Waste Division at the Department of Community Services.
Under general direction, this non-supervisory classification develops and coordinates the County’s solid waste reduction, household hazardous waste collection, and recycling programs; undertakes a number of educational activities and events to promote public awareness and involvement in solid waste reduction programs and recycling efforts; acts as a liaison between other governmental agencies; is responsible for County solid waste management activities in waste reduction, recycling, and household hazardous waste programs; and performs other related duties as may be required.
