Bio
Elizabeth graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BSA in Biology. She was selected for the Climate Leaders program at UT Austin and created greenhouse gas emissions reduction plans for the Moody College of Communication and the McDonald Observatory. Her capstone thesis, “In Defense of Storytelling: A Tool Against Climate Change”, explored the use of storytelling in science communication to shape public perception. After graduating, Elizabeth worked as an Energy and Sustainability Analyst for commercial properties. Through the EPM program, she is excited to build her technical expertise and use environmental data to understand the impacts of climate change, encourage public engagement with environmental issues, and inform climate solutions.
