The State Policy Senior Associate will principally support Clean Tomorrow's on-the-ground state engagement work, developing and implementing stakeholder engagement strategiesto translate Clean Tomorrow's existing policy expertise into state-level action. Initially this role will support Clean Tomorrow’s Siting Solutions Project, which works to diagnose and develop state siting and permitting policy solutions to improve the pace and scale of clean energy deployment. The ideal candidate can read a state's political and stakeholder landscape, engage coalitions that extend beyond traditional clean energy and climate constituencies, provide accurate and succinct reviews of legislative proposals, and rapidly produce clear, audience-appropriate materials for state policymakers and advocates. This role will report to the Senior Director of Policy.
