We are an agriculture non-profit focused on cultivating future generations of farmers and natural resource stewards, and we are seeking passionate and dedicated interns to support our Farm & Climate Program this summer.
On our team, you will support a ½ acre diversified vegetable plot which supplies the Community Food Program's Mobile Farmer's Market trucks with fresh, culturally-relevant produce to sell in Yolo County. You will also support our habitat restoration efforts by helping to maintain native hedgerow plantings and monitoring songbirds, bees, and butterflies.
This is a 12-week, part-time position (~10hrs/wk) spanning June to September with some flexibility in scheduling. Interns will receive an $800 stipend and 4 course credits toward their major (if applicable) or general requirements. We will hire two candidates for this position.
