Then this may be the job for you! The incumbent will coordinate and plan fecal DNA (fDNA) surveys to address impacts to deer conservation and management, while also assessing environmental conditions and habitats. Day to day tasks include statewide driving to remote areas of California to execute field assignments, collecting fDNA, supporting game captures and surveys via helicopter and fixed wing aircraft, and leading seasonal staff in various fieldwork activities.
This is a 12-month limited term position with the potential to be extended up to 24 months or could become permanent.
