The Delta Conveyance Design and Construction Authority (DCA) is a Joint Powers Authority (government entity) formed in 2018 by public water agencies to participate in the update of infrastructure in the California Delta to protect the water supply of 27 million Californians. The State’s Department of Water Resources (DWR) owns and operates the State Water Project system and oversees the work of the DCA. The DCA has assembled a team of world-class experts tasked with designing and constructing the Delta Conveyance Project. This project is a key element of Governor Newsom’s portfolio of Statewide water actions to build a resilient water supply for California. Join the DCA to gain valuable work experience!
