Job Description

The Division of Water Quality, Industrial and Construction General Permitting (ICGP) Unit works to protect Waters of the United States from the release of pollutants present in Industrial and Construction Stormwater discharge. The ICGP Unit has a position open for a Water Resource Control Engineer passionate about meaningful work in stormwater protection by developing and implementing the Industrial and Construction General Permits using their stormwater expertise to determine if the science behind selecting priority Best Management Practices (BMPs) will meet water quality standards or limits. The ICGP Unit respects a quality work/life balance.  

Currently this position requires a minimum of 2 days in the office located at 1001 I Street, Sacramento, CA 95814, two blocks from light rail and public transportation, and near the State Capitol, restaurants, and the Golden 1 Arena.
