Bio
Frank is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism (News and Information), and a Bachelor of Arts (Art History). Since graduating, he has worked as a researcher, equipment fabricator, and imaging specialist with a focus on post-wildfire debris flows in Southern California, and the use of HFGPR (High-Frequency-Ground-Penetrating-Radar) to map hydrophobic soils within the San Gabriel Mountains. His specializations of interest are Water Resource Management and Fire Ecology. He hopes to help bridge the gap between scientists, policymakers, and local community leaders so that populations within the Wildland Urban Interface may better adapt, prepare, and develop solutions for coming challenges associated with climate change.
