Job Description
Position Summary
Lagoon Valley, the Bay Area’s First Conservation Community, invites you to be a part of our
innovative Visitors Welcome Center. As the first point of contact for guests, the Visitors
Welcome Center Host will play a crucial role in showcasing this groundbreaking mixed-use
community. You will guide visitors through interactive displays, highlighting a variety of
residential neighborhoods and models to visit while emphasizing the community commitment to
sustainability, open space preservation, and ecological restoration.
In addition to engaging with guests, the Visitors Welcome Center Host will coordinate public
and private events, provide support to homebuilders, and represent the Triad team in various
capacities. Your role will be integral in communicating our conservation-focused vision and
maintaining a high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
This role includes, but is not limited to, the following essential duties:
● Visitor Engagement: Greet and host visitors, delivering exceptional service and respond
to questions in an enthusiastic, well-informed, and articulate manner while providing a
comprehensive overview of Lagoon Valley’s residential offerings and future amenities
using our advanced AV tools.
● Event Coordination: Plan and manage occasional public and private events, ensuring
they align with our community values and goals.
● Support and Liaison: Act as a liaison between the Visitors Welcome Center,
community homebuilders, and the Triad team, providing necessary support and fostering
strong relationships.
● Conservation Education: Use interactive tools, such as the topography table and
community videos, to educate visitors about our sustainability principles and
conservation efforts.
● Inventory Management: Assist with inventory and ordering of office and marketing
supplies to ensure smooth operation.
● Efficiency Improvement: Develop and implement systems to enhance service efficiency
and effectiveness.
● Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements / Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:
● Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a customer service environment preferred.
● Education: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred. Some
educational knowledge or experience in the fields of sustainability, land conservation, or
ecological literacy is highly desirable.
● Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers and AV equipment is required. Training
will be provided for specific tools, such as the interactive topography table and video
presentations.
● Languages: Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
● Licenses/Certifications: No specific licenses or certifications required.
● Travel Required: None.
Work Environment:
● Setting: Primarily indoors in a controlled environment. May require supervision of
outdoor activities, with exposure to varying temperatures.
● Schedule: Includes occasional evenings or holidays as needed. Standard operating work
hours of the Visitors Welcome Center will be 10 AM – 6 PM from March through
October and 9 AM through 5 PM from November through February. The days of
operation will be Wednesday Through Sunday.
● Noise Level: Generally quiet to moderate, with homebuilding activities scattered
throughout the community.
Physical Demands:
The following physical demands are typical for this role:
● Mobility: Frequent standing, walking, and the ability to lift/move up to 40 pounds.
● Coordination: Multi-limb and eye-hand coordination required.
● Vision: Specific vision abilities needed for detailed work and materials handling.
