As the Sea Level Rise Adaptation Project Manager, you will lead a portfolio of projects focused on sea level rise adaptation and nature-based solutions, working directly under the Climate Ready Communities Program’s Senior Manager. This role requires a self-starter who is capable of working effectively in both top-down and grassroots approaches, with a wide scope of experiences, including community engagement and education, participatory design methodologies, technical knowledge of environmental planning, and project management skills.
You will work as part of our Climate Ready Communities Team to develop and implement community-driven sea level rise adaptation plans, supporting the development of solutions such as horizontal levees, ecotone levees, and green stormwater infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including residents, landowners, business owners, Tribal members, community-based organizations, public agencies, designers, engineers, scientists, and regional government to integrate community and Tribal perspectives into the planning process with an equity-centered focus.
