Alexandra (Lexi) Yokomizo graduated Spring 2024 from CSU Monterey Bay with a B.S. in Environmental Tech and Policy with a minor in Global Studies. While there, she was part of the Watershed Environments and Ecology Lab, researching watershed monitoring, post-fire impacts, sediment in estuaries, and many other topics. Developing and leading independent projects built on her interests in intersectional and interdisciplinary research to achieve actionable steps and knowledge. She hopes to use her research experience to bridge the gap between science and policy and ensure equal and easy access to clean water for everyone.
