Ioana Seritan

Ioana Seritan fell in love with birds, and wildlife as a whole, while growing up in California's Central Valley. She received her B.S. in Environmental Sciences from UC Berkeley in 2017, which broadened her understanding of wildlife conservation and environmental justice. Since then, they have gained professional experience through exciting jobs from environmental education and nature writing, to wildlife rehabilitation and public health. Ioana is passionate about the health of both people and wildlife, and is committed to building a just future for all. At UC Davis, Ioana hopes to learn how policy is made so that she can contribute to crafting solutions for the vast environmental issues we live with today.
