Thank You For Supporting Our Crowdfund!
Over the month of October, EPM participated in the Crowdfund UC Davis. With the help of 54 generous donors, EPM's Crowdfund campaign raised $4,230 for the new Environmental Policy and Management Experiential Learning Fund. That's 105% of our $4,000 goal!

What Funds Will Support
The Experiential Learning Fund will cover travel and other costs that come with hands-on learning for EPM students, including flights, lodging, registration fees, and transportation.
Many graduate students face financial strain, and a dedicated fund means cost is less likely to keep a student from taking part when an opportunity for professional development comes up.
These opportunities come through the Practicum and Policy Clinic, where students meet with legislators, run community meetings, and present at professional conferences. Proposed site visits for the 2027 Policy Clinic include:
- Wildlife connectivity sites and mitigation banking field trips
- Restoration sites in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta
- Carbon farming on working lands in Sacramento County
- Communities facing high wildfire risk and biomass buildup
Thank you to everyone who donated or shared the campaign. Your support helps EPM students get out of the classroom and see policy in action, without worrying about how to pay for the trip.
This campaign was part of the campus-wide Crowdfund UC Davis. Each October and February, teams of students, faculty, and staff run month-long campaigns to raise money for various projects. EPM was one of 41 project teams raising funds, and cumulative donations for all UC Davis projects reached $95,636 from 822 donors.
