The California Conservation Corps Watershed Stewards Program in partnership with AmeriCorps (WSP) is dedicated to improving watershed health by actively engaging in restoration science, civic service, and community education while empowering the next generation of environmental stewards. WSP is a dynamic program committed to developing early natural resource professionals (18-32) by engaging them in a 1,700-hour, 10.5-month term of public service and watershed and salmonid restoration duties. The WSP Program Analyst (PA) will work under the supervision of the WSP Program Manager (located at the Eureka office) with direct guidance from the two WSP Program Coordinators. The PA is part of a small team dedicated to inspiring, educating, and challenging young adults to further their educational and professional goals through their service experience. The PA is a new key position brought on to focus on short- and long-term recruitment, public engagement, and outreach goals. The PA will assist with data collection, analysis, and grant compliance activities, required to recruit and support our 44 Corpsmembers (CMs) in high-need watersheds and Placement Site communities throughout California each year.
