Water Resource Control Engineer

The State Water Resources Control Board – Division of Drinking Water has three openings for Water Resource Control Engineers in the Redding Field Office, located in beautiful Redding, CA. Water Resource Control Engineers perform a variety of engineering work related to public water systems. Duties include on-site inspection activities including physical inspection of water source intakes, treatment plants, storage reservoirs, pump stations, and distribution facilities. Additional duties include providing engineering assistance to public water systems on water quality issues, operational problems, and treatment facilities to provide safe and reliable drinking water to their customers. These positions allow for hybrid in-office and telework schedules. In-office attendance is dependent on operational needs and CalEPA policies.
