As our Sustainability Research Specialist, you will have the opportunity to:
- Apply complex research methods to perform research supporting a range of energy programs and policies
- Implement DGS green policies, practices, and procedures
- Monitor the impact of legislation and market changes related to funding programs
- Evaluate, influence, and develop sustainability policies that support the advancement and use of clean technology
- Deliver improved data collection, analysis, and presentation
- Track data for the statewide electric vehicle program
- Administer the Energy Efficient State Property Revolving Fund
Desired Skills and Experience
- Building/facility energy storage and Microgrid research background
- Ability to analyze complex sustainability issues and present information clearly
- Ability to develop creative approaches and solutions to sustainability challenges
- Sustainability policy research experience
- The ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
