Job Description

You will:

  • Plan, organize, and direct the activities of the organizational unit, ensuring that they comply with legal and regulatory requirements and meet customer needs.
  • Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
  • Represent the Agency with a variety of functional area organizations.
  • Serve as a technical advisor and assistant to the Second-Level Supervisor on issues pertaining to implementing the region's Brownfields program as directed by the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) including managing grants to states, tribes, and local governments, conducting outreach, developing collaborations, and provide technical assistance and information to the communities, the public, and external agencies to encourage the cleanup and redevelopment of sites which are not being redeveloped because of real or perceived contamination.

You will spend less than 25% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
