Join our team as an Environmental Sustainability Intern and contribute to impactful projects that support DFW's "Zero Waste" goal. This hands-on internship offers the opportunity to work alongside experts in the field, tackle real-world challenges, and help drive innovative solutions that reduce environmental impact. You¿ll gain valuable experience in areas such as resource conservation, environmental policy, and sustainability initiatives, while making a meaningful difference for the planet.

 

 

What you will be doing:

  • Prepare and/or present written, oral, and electronic presentations to management staff.
  • Participate in a variety of professional development activities providing practical experience in the application of academic skills toward the solution of business problems.
  • Participate in project work assisting department professionals developing procedures, performing financial, operational, or business analysis, or developing/evaluating performance measures.
  • May compile business or operational data; assist in forecasting activity levels; assist in developing business solutions to department or organizational problems.

 

What you need:

  • Must be an active student in a bachelor's degree program in environmental science, sustainability, physical or life sciences, engineering, or a related field at an accredited college or university.
  • Three (3) letters of reference including at least one (1) from the candidate's academic advisor.
  • Possession of a valid class C driver's license.
  • 18 years of age or older.
