Job Description
Typical education requirements:
- Current enrollment in a four-year college with junior standing or higher with a major related to the available position assignment; or,
- Current enrollment in a graduate degree program related to the available position assignment; or,
- Recent graduation from a four-year college with a degree related to the available position assignment.
Typical majors or degree program include:
- Mechanical, civil or environmental engineering, construction management, physical, biological or environmental sciences, or other similar or related technical programs.
Typical Duties:
- Assists professional water quality and technical personnel in a variety of field studies related to the process of locating, monitoring, identifying District pipes; may assist in the review of plans for conformance with specifications.
- May participates in the recording of programming applications or the use of commercially prepared computer programs for the solution of specific problems with an engineering team member.
- May participates in preliminary studies and assisting in the preparation of environmental impact reports; may assist in the review of environmental impact reports prepared by others for completeness and District ramifications.
