Student Housing and Dining Services fosters a culture of sustainability at UC Davis through institutional change and active engagement with Student Housing residents and SHDS staff. SHDS has a commitment to the continued development and implementation of sustainable practices and programs that will advance a sustainable and equitable future, for all.
Sustainable practices support social, economic, and environmental vitality for our campus and the global community. We follow the University of California Office of the President Sustainable Practices Policy, which outlines goals in 12 policy areas including water, waste, sustainable food service, and climate.
