About the Role
Data for Progress is hiring a Senior Polling Analyst to help expand our mission to empower movements using data. As a Senior Polling Analyst, you’ll spend your days writing survey questions, analyzing data, and crafting polling memos. You’ll work closely with our polling team to run tests and prepare data products for the progressive movement.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of public opinion, market research, or survey research experience
- An understanding of how to turn data into actionable insights — not just crunching numbers, but telling the story behind them
- Excellent written, operational, and organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities at a time and meet deadlines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Strong communications skills — you’ll be working with, designing project plans for, and presenting to both internal and external partners
- Experience with writing, coding, and fielding surveys using tools like Qualtrics
- Experience leading projects from start to finish and interfacing with clients
- Some familiarity with working with survey weights and weighting survey results
- Some familiarity with survey panel vendors
