Job Description
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality management
  • Oversee complex, multi-year environmental programs ensuring compliance, performance tracking, and timely delivery
  • Develop, review, and manage technical reports, regulatory documentation, and client deliverables
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
  • Manage program budgets, cost projections, and financial reporting in collaboration with finance teams
  • Identify risks, solve complex project challenges, and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with scientists, engineers, field teams, and regulatory experts
  • Support business development efforts, including proposal preparation and program expansion initiatives
  • Mentor and manage junior staff, including performance management and team development
  • Represent the organization at public meetings, stakeholder engagements, and industry forums

Qualifications & Experience

  • 15+ years of professional experience in environmental consulting or natural resource management
  • 10+ years of experience managing large-scale environmental or infrastructure programs
  • Strong background in water resources, watershed restoration, wetlands, or related disciplines
  • Proven experience managing budgets, timelines, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Advanced degree in environmental science, natural resources, water resources, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of California environmental policies, permitting, and water management challenges
  • Experience working with technical teams including engineers, biologists, and environmental scientists
