Revegetation Specialist, Associate Environmental Planner (Natural Sciences)

Under the general direction of a Senior Environmental Planner or Senior Environmental Scientist, the incumbent assesses the impacts of more complex transportation projects on biological resources and develops mitigation measures in compliance with regulatory permits, the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and other state and federal laws. In coordination with multidisciplinary project development teams and external partners and agencies, lead in the development and implementation of revegetation plans. Monitor designated mitigation sites and complete annual reports as identified in CEQA/NEPA documents and regulatory permits. Provide input regarding cost, scope, and schedule associated with recommendations for revegetation.
