This fellow will work on community engagement and organizing to build political will and raise awareness about flood, wildfire and extreme heat risk in one of our Resilience Hotspots locations, Gilroy. Visit greenbelt.org/gilroy to learn about this new initiative.
The fellow will work closely with Greenbelt staff to identify and connect with community leaders, speak to Gilroy residents, organize events to raise awareness and build momentum, and conduct research on climate change impacts in the region.
