Plumas Corp is seeking a Program Director (PD) to manage the programs of the Plumas County Fire Safe Council (PCFSC). The PD will work closely with the Boards of both Plumas Corporation and the PCFSC, Plumas Corp staff, private landowners seeking wildfire mitigation assistance, Firewise volunteers, UC Cooperative Extension, county representatives, US Forest Service, CAL FIRE, and other partners. The Program Director works under the Executive Director (ED) of Plumas Corp. The position has responsibility to track and plan for the Plumas County Fire Safe Council’s fiscal health; to ensure that the PCFSC staff have resources and support to carry out their specific programs and projects; to ensure that grant deliverables are met, and to guide the organization according to the mission statement in order to carry out the 5-year strategic plan.
