American Progress has an immediate opening in its Energy and Environment department for a Policy Analyst or Senior Policy Analyst on the Conservation Policy team. This position will focus on conservation, natural climate solutions, responsible siting of the renewable energy infrastructure necessary for a clean energy future, analysis of fossil fuel markets, advocating for pollution-free public lands and ocean, and ensuring a just transition for communities.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with strong writing and project management skills; an attention to detail; a commitment to promoting conservation, addressing climate change, and improving diversity, equity, and inclusion in conservation policy; and a willingness to work on a wide range of policy issues. The position will report to the Director of Public Lands on the Conservation Policy team, and the title will be determined by the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
