Natural Resource Specialist

As a Natural Resource Specialist, you will perform the following duties:

• Review, gather, analyze, interpret, and synthesize scientific data and technical information for the purpose of determining environmental impacts on biological resources and aquatic habitats.
• Develop and/or contribute to natural resource plans, management strategies, or impact assessments with corresponding conservation measures.
• Advise agency leadership on the application of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) to agency policies and programs to ensure compliance with NEPA, its implementing regulations, and agency procedures and analytical requirements.
• Coordinate the work of multidisciplinary teams responsible for ensuring quality and timely NEPA products and services produced in support of agency programs and activities.
• Write biological and regulatory documents, including NEPA documents, required under various Federal environmental laws and processes, prepare reports, and make presentations.
