Job Description

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) Foundation is seeking highly motivated 
students interested in nonprofit program management and the role agricultural system advocacy plays in supporting 
the U.S. food and agriculture industry.
WHAT IS THE NASDA FOUNDATION?The NASDA Foundation is the only education and research organization that serves the nation’s state departments 
of agriculture. Our mission is to advance agriculture to shape a changing world. The NASDA Foundation enhances 
American food and agricultural communities through education, outreach and research.
ABOUT THE INTERNSHIPThe overall internship objective will be to assist the NASDA Foundation team with the general administration and 
program efforts of the NASDA Foundation. Our works spans multiple projects and geographies. Project work will 
include but is not limited to:
• Assisting with grant management activities and reporting
• Researching grant opportunities, preparing summaries and business cases for future endeavors
• Preparing and updating NASDA Foundation communication tools
• Assisting the team with preparations for NASDA Next Generation and materials for regional meetings
• Assisting with on-going reporting and systems/standard operating procedures preparation
• Assist as needed with NASDA administrative needs
• Any other assigned tasks
