Job Description

Placer Land Trust (PLT) is seeking a Land Manager to join our team to protect and care for natural and agricultural lands in Placer County, California.
This Land Manager will be responsible for managing and monitoring several thousand acres of PLT’s protected properties. The job is about 40% field work, and about 60% office work. The Land Manager will work as part of a team of land management (aka “stewardship”) staff and will be supervised by PLT’s Stewardship Director.
The position is full-time exempt, primarily weekdays with frequent travel to field locations, and occasional weekend and evening work. Headquartered in Auburn, CA, PLT offers a hybrid work environment and flexible scheduling.
We seek applicants with diverse backgrounds and experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate land management experience and commitment to conservation and land stewardship. ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Placer Land Trust (PLT) is seeking an Assistant Director to lead and support our staff in the permanent protection of natural and agricultural lands in Placer County, California.
The Assistant Director (AD) will ensure the sustainable success of PLT through efficient and effective management of PLT’s existing resources – primarily its staff, programs, funds, and assets. The AD is a key part of PLT’s leadership, along with the Executive Director and the Board of Directors. The AD is supervised by the Executive Director.
The position is full-time exempt, with occasional weekend and evening work. Headquartered in Auburn, CA, PLT offers a hybrid work environment and flexible scheduling.
We seek applicants with diverse backgrounds and experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for conservation, leadership experience, and skills with administration, personnel management/supervision, fundraising, and financial management.
