The Inuit Knowledge Analyst is responsible for the social sciences research program that builds on several Inuit Knowledge studies that have been conducted by the Secretariat to date. You will spend your time planning, designing, managing, and collaborating on social research projects by using a variety of methods, such as interviews, questionnaires and focus groups to investigate the views of the Nunatsiavut population, on issues for the management of wildlife, plants and fisheries.
As the Torngat Secretariat’s Inuit Knowledge Analyst you would have a solid understanding of the full research process and have strategic thoughts on how best to implement and collaborate on each project on a case-by-case basis.
