Internship - Conservation Planner

The intern will work alongside experienced planners, habitat designers, ecologists, land managers, and GIS analysts to assist in the development of mitigation projects. The intern will have exposure to and gain experience with various technical reports; CEQA documentation; local, state, and federal permitting requirements and application processes; regional conservation programs; title reports; and GIS methods and tools. The intern will also have opportunities to visit existing and proposed mitigation sites, join WES ecologists during monitoring surveys, and attend agency meetings to better understand the mitigation banking business.  .
