The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has new internship positions available to interested college students for the Winter/Spring term.
CARB signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with Southern California academic institutions, from kindergarten to university level, aimed at expanding the knowledge base of air quality and climate change program areas. As part of those MOUs, the CARB’s Academic and Public Partnerships (APP) section created a formal student internship program for college students.
Students who are currently attending an accredited college or university in Southern California or Riverside are encouraged to apply. Students do not need to be attending a school with an official MOU partnership, this program is open to all. These internships are for course credit and would need to be approved by the intern’s educational institution prior to start date.
Workdays and hours are flexible, please check the individual listings for more information
