Under the general direction of the Senior Advisor, the incumbent is responsible for planning and organizing CalSTA's international transportation policy work and ensuring its alignment with Agency's and the State's goals, vision, transportation plans and policies. The incumbent is also responsible for reviewing, tracking, and managing contracts in relation to international transportation policy engagement and implementation. The International Transportation Policy Manager will provide crucial leadership in advancing climate, equity, international trade, goods movement, multi-modal, innovative mobility and zero-emission transportation policies through international engagement and will ensure CalSTA management is apprised by reporting successes and elevating issues where appropriate.
