Greenhouse Gas Inventory Unit Supervisor

This position supervises the GHG Inventory Unit and acts as the state’s lead expert in GHG emission inventories. You will:

• Lead the overall design, planning, and implementation of the GHG Inventory Unit, and statewide GHG emissions estimates;
• Estimate and track greenhouse gas pollutant emissions, use advancing science to improve models, and identify co-benefits of GHG emissions reductions;
• Coordinate with other state agencies and programs, such as State Efficiency and Environmental Performance (SEEP), and the Department of Commerce, to promote GHG emission reductions across the state; and,
• Supervise a staff of up to six fellow scientists and specialists.
