The Associate Environmental Planner (AEP) works in the Division of Land Resource Protection (Division) within the Department of Conservation (Department) under the general direction of the Senior Environmental Planner for the Division’s regional conservation programs, including the Regional Forest and Fire Capacity (RFFC) program, Multibenefit Land Repurposing Program (MLRP), and Climate Smart Land Management Program (CSLMP). The incumbent will collaborate with the California Natural Resources Agency (Agency), state conservancies, resource conservation districts, and other organizations to support place-based land and resource stewardship programs which further local, regional, state, and federal objectives.
