Forestry Technicians

A forestry technician works in a variety of areas – recreation, timber, wildlife, watershed, botany, silviculture, range, and others – to promote healthy forest resources and provide opportunities for the public to enjoy national forest and grasslands.  For candidates with just a year of work experience or 2 years of college or vocational school, these permanent, full-time positions provide a pathway to launch a career with the Forest Service.  Join our team and gain on-the-job training, broad experience, and built – in opportunities for advancement.
