Hey there, climate champion!

Are you ready to take climate action, connect people with volunteer opportunities, build community resilience, and get compensated along the way? You’re in the right place!

The California Climate Action Corps has 300+ positions available across California for the 2023-24 Full-Term Program. This is a climate-focused, workforce development program for emerging climate and environmental leaders. These are paid, full-time fellowships—similar to internships—but with 170-340 dedicated hours for professional development and training while receiving hands-on field experience in the climate revolution.

As part of California’s comprehensive strategy to address climate change, the Office of the Governor created the country’s first state-level climate service corps and Fellowship program. California Climate Action Corps (CCAC) is a national service program led by California Volunteers and implemented by Bay Area Community Resources dedicated to advancing equitable climate action that engages community members, cultivates change, and leaves a lasting impact.

CCAC Fellows serve as AmeriCorps members and are matched with organizations across California to mobilize these communities through volunteer engagement to take climate action and lead projects focused on wildfire resiliency, urban greening, and organic waste and edible food recovery.
