Fishery Policy Analyst

As a Fishery Policy Analyst, you will perform the following duties:

• Advise management on the development and analysis of national aquaculture policies and regulations at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
• Develop policy recommendations, briefing documents, views letters, technical drafting assistance, recommendations for action, and other materials related to aquaculture management.
• Communicate and collaborate with partners across NOAA Fisheries, other NOAA Line Offices, other federal and state agencies, and stakeholders on policy and regulatory issues relevant to NOAA's aquaculture mission.
• Disseminate information to customers, managers and other stakeholder organizations.
