You are excited to learn about the opportunities in the environmental field and are looking to add an internship to your resume.

Program summary: In addition to completing a traditional internship program, all interns will receive training and mentoring from various Aspen staff.

  • Internship will be 8 weeks during the summer months (July and August).
  • Paid internship: $22/hour
  • Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week as determined by internal availability and company workload.
  • This internship includes three tracks depending on intern’s interests:
  1. Track 1: Environmental Sciences (Field and Remote)– Field studies with a choice of Biology, Cultural Resources (Archaeology), or Paleontology.
  2. Track 2: Environmental Planning (Remote and In-office) – Writing environmental documents to comply with environmental laws, policies, and regulations.
  3. Track 3: Geographic Information Systems (GIS) (Remote and In-office) – Preparing maps, using GIS, to support environmental analyses.
