Data Services Coordinator

Under the direction of the Information Technology Manager I in the Data Engineering Unit (DEU) of the Information Technology Services Branch (ITSB) within the Administration Division, the Information Technology Associate (ITA) performs a variety of reoccurring, well-defined tasks within a limited scope, typically involving one unit, function, or procedures in the Business Technology Management, and Client Services domains. The ITA acts as a technical representative, providing administrative and technical support, and serves as the first point of contact to review and process data service requests submitted to the California Energy Commission (CEC). The incumbent will conduct research and analysis of new client technologies. The ITA will provide first-level technical support for basic requests and track and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. The incumbent is expected to resolve technical support issues and route more complex requests to the appropriate staff.
