In the role of Cultural Resource Section Manager, we'll count on you to:

 

  • Take responsibility for assessment, preparation of documents, reports and findings for archaeological investigations
  • Develop and monitor tasks, schedules and cost estimates, and assess applicable requirements and processes for cultural resource projects
  • Lead and support Section 106 compliance, NEPA, and CEQA efforts.
  • Conduct fieldwork, participate in meetings, and develop compliance strategy
  • Take part in all processes with cultural resources projects, including field investigations and agency coordination
  • Serve as a technical expert with recognized authority in an area of specialization that resolves problems of greater scope and complexity as needed
  • Work with cross-sector teams to optimize project delivery and new business development.
  • Take responsibility for operations of Northern California’s Cultural Resources Section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support
  • Plan, organize and supervise work of medium to large staff of cultural resources professionals and technicians
  • Serve as Project Manager on projects, as needed
  • Take responsibility for development, coordination, monitoring and improvement of technical competencies of practice staff and products to meet client needs and market drivers.
  • Oversee delivery of project services and deliverables to meet client expectations
  • Take administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections
  • Be involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviews for private and public clients
  • Implement, monitor and support company policies
  • Perform other duties as needed
