Conservation Policy & Funding Coordinator

We are seeking a collaborative, analytical, and detail-oriented team member to interact with external partners and most of the Land Trust staff in this new role. This position includes researching and cultivating grant opportunities, developing successful grant proposals, and supporting policy projects.

 

Land Steward

The Land Steward position involves tasks that promote and support the conservation values of Land Trust properties using industry-standard best practices. These tasks include, but are not limited to, invasive weed management, vegetation management, erosion control, landscape construction, and rural road and facilities maintenance. Focus areas include our sandhills preserves, Glenwood Open Space Preserve, Santa Cruz long-toed salamander preserves, San Vicente Redwoods, Byrne-Milliron Forest, Watsonville Slough Farm, Highway 17 properties, Rocks Ranch, and other properties as they are added to our holdings.
