Community Climate Solutions and Public Service Program Manager

This position will lead the development of an innovative new AmeriCorps program that will support capacity building for meaningful climate action in low-income and energy burdened communities throughout Maine. This position will also provide direct support to community climate initiatives throughout Maine. A Climate to Thrive currently operates Local Leads the Way, a program that supports approximately thirty Maine communities with citizen-driven climate action efforts. This position will provide direct research, grant writing, and technical support to communities participating in the Local Leads the Way program. This is an opportunity to shape an innovative new AmeriCorps program and be part of an ambitious, solutions-driven organization that is building and spreading a model of community-driven climate action throughout Maine! This position will report to the Executive Director, work closely with the rest of the ACTT team, and form strong relationships with organizations and communities statewide.
