The Climate and Clean Energy Analyst will provide critical analytical support for Pacific Environment’s campaigns on climate, zero-emission shipping, and beyond. They will conduct research and analysis and produce reports that will strengthen Pacific Environment’s advocacy efforts with policymakers, community partners, labor partners, environmental justice partners, industry stakeholders and other campaign targets to ensure a broad base of support for campaign goals.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in:
-Quantitative and qualitative data analysis
-Data tool creation and maintenance
-Data visualization and presentation
-Technical research and evaluation of industry best practices in energy markets and carbon budgeting/accounting
They will also have an urgency to defeat the champions of fossil fuel use, a passion for protecting communities and wildlife, and a commitment to environmental justice and equity.
The Climate and Clean Energy Analyst will report to Pacific Environment’s Climate Campaign Manager, Ports.
Salary between $75k-$95k/year.
