Associate Zero-Carbon Technology Analyst – Electric Generation Systems Specialist I or Energy Analyst state classification - Energy Assessments Division (EAD)

Salary: $102k - $127k plus state pension plan

 

Do you have a strong market perspective on emerging energy technologies? California Energy Commission (CEC) is hiring a lead analyst in the Supply Analysis Branch in our Energy Assessments Division (EAD). Our next Associate Zero-Carbon Technology Analyst will review emerging zero-carbon and firm zero-carbon technologies such as hydrogen, energy storage, and geothermal energy to help California on its path to 100 percent clean electricity future.

 

EAD assesses California’s electricity, natural gas, petroleum, and transportation systems and trends to provide information to the state’s decision makers and the public. These assessments inform the development, and implementation, of energy policies that balance the need for adequate resources with economic, public health, safety, and environmental goals. The Supply Analysis Branch has primary responsibility for producing analysis relating to electricity generation and supply and resource assessments.
