Job Description

The Governor’s Office of Planning & Research (OPR) seeks to fill a Permanent/Fulltime Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) position in the Strategic Growth Council Branch within Connecting Communities.

Under the direction of the Strategic Growth Council’s (SGC) Connecting Communities Senior Advisor, the Connecting Communities Analyst is responsible for identifying and securing non-California State resources by developing a strategy and approach for targeted resources to help meet the needs of California communities, including securing funds, identifying gaps in funding, and funding analysis for solutions. This position will provide technical support for grant writing and effectively maintain awareness and coordination with communities and partners.


NOTE: Training & Development (T&D) assignments will not be considered for this recruitment.

This position is designated under the Conflict of Interest Code. The position is responsible for making or participating in the making of governmental decisions that may potentially have a material effect on personal financial interests. The appointee is required to complete Form 700 within 30 days of appointment and once per year. Failure to comply with the Conflict of Interest Code requirements may void the appointment.
